Students making a Totem Pole

A clear sense of purpose, agreed aims and shared values underpin everything we do at the College. This is not to say that our buildings, equipment, finances and facilities are not important. They are, but through carefully defining what we believe in and sharing this with you, we aim to use all our resources to the best effect.

It is therefore important at the outset, that you know that above all we are positively committed to:

EXCELLENCE THROUGH LIFELONG LEARNING

KEY THOUGHT: EVERYONE MATTERS AND NO ONE UNDERACHIEVES

We Aim to:
  • promote a caring community in which each member feels equally valued and respected and has the opportunity to achieve his or her highest potential and ambition.
  • provide an enjoyable and motivating environment for all members.
  • encourage the idea of learning as a lifelong process.
  • encourage the development of each student intellectually, aesthetically, morally, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually
  • provide a curriculum including the National Curriculum, which ensures breadth, balance and relevance and caters for the particular needs and aptitudes of all students.
